On Sunday night I danced to music made by tesla coils.
I think that statement sums up my experience at Dragon*Con 2007. I had a shit ton of fun, spending four days basking in the collective enthusiasm that's the best part of the con. Of course, the costumes were great, and I had a great time just people-watching, but I also had an amazing time at the events. Highlights include:
1. Hank Reindhardt, a 73-year old arms expert, brutalizing a couple of pork shoulders with a Viking broadsword.
2. Learning that the creative teams of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Squidbillies are mean when they aren't high*. They're still funny, though.
3. Learning that I need to get in shape.
The full set of pictures are posted here.
*This doesn't apply to Unknown Hinson, who was being mean as a bit. Doc Hammer is cool, but he was in the audience and not on the panel.

I really really love these pictures. Thanks for letting me vicariously live DragonCon!
Well done, Joe. Would've liked to see pictures of you cosplaying something.
