Last night I did stand-up for the first time. I thought it went pretty well: I used fortune cookies and I had a list of jokes with "THESE ARE MY JOKES" written on the back. This is a picture of me looking at a Martha Stewart holiday magazine* with her dressed as a "Glampire" on the cover. I didn't do a proper "joke" about it, I just wanted to show it to the audience. I spent seven bucks on that bit, and it actually worked out kind of well.
It was, firstly and foremost-ly, great fun, and I can't wait to do it again.
*A Halloween issue, thank god, and not Christmas.
