I wrote a letter into Savage Love and Dan Savage printed it! I unfortunately didn't feel the need to clarify that I'm not gay*, so he assumed I was (the letter was about the Larry Craig brouhaha). Other than that, he gave a typically hilarious and incisive answer to my question.
